“Giving is a criteria for mental health, and generous people are rarely mentally ill.”
-Karl Menninger, Psychiatrist/ Director of the Menninger Clinic
There are many reasons to give generously to our mission and work—sanity may be one of them. However, experiencing God and his joy is a better promise!
“A generous man will himself be blessed”– Solomon Proverbs 22:9
Treasures stored up for yourself in heaven can never be stolen, taxed or suffer the effects of a fickle market—Jesus Matt 6:20 (mildly paraphrased)
Other ways to give include your time, maybe using your gifts and talents to join our Board or sharing your computer & social media skills. We are always looking for volunteers to help at events, our summer fruit sale and connecting with kids. Several ministry friends have donated stock while others have included us in their estate planning. I’d be more than happy to visit with you to explore ways you can make a difference in the lives of kids!
We thank God for your generosity and we promise to use your contribution wisely!
