Mike Lindell Interview 5-19-20
I had 2 pages of questions written out. We had time for half of them. Here are the things we talked about: Let me try a few other labels for Mike…Jesus Follower, ex crack addict, Author and I also think you should have received an Academy Award for your brilliant performance of driving a bulldozer and knocking down that sign in the movie Unplanned. The role of a lifetime! How did that come about?
On March 30th of this year, you were one of many CEO’s invited to the White House by President Trump for your decision to re-tool your My Pillow factory in order to produce cotton masks for health care providers. A number of people, including many in the media, were put off, to say it mildly, that you went off script, or off the cuff as you said. Let me repeat what you said and I’d like to have you explain what you meant…”God gave us grace on November 8th, 2016 to change the course we were on. God had been taken out of our schools and lives. A Nation had turned its’ back on God. I encourage you to use this time at home to get back in the Word, to read the Bible and spend time with our families”. What was your heart behind that statement and did you expect the reaction you got?
You wear a cross necklace for the world to see and you know many people are encouraged by that. How does your faith affect the way you do business?
In all fairness I have not yet read your book, titled “What Are The Odds? From crack addict to CEO”. I have read some excerpts and watched a few interviews you’ve done. It’s clear you hold nothing back about your story in this book. What was it like for you in your teen years?
When you google Mike Lindell, Wikipedia says quote” During the 80’s & 90’s Lindell was addicted to cocaine, crack cocaine & alcohol”. Is that true and when and how did you start with drugs?
Is it safe to say that you were an addict while trying to live out your faith?
What are your thoughts on us being able to have civil conversations with people we disagree with? Fellow Christians included.
Tell me about the Lindell Recovery Network – a mentoring network. When do you hope to launch LRN?
Any advice for those struggling with drug & alcohol addiction?
The name of his book is “What Are the Odds? From Crack Addict to CEO”. I’ll let you know when the full audio interview is online. I plan on using portions of the interview on our Teen Hope Ministries Sunday morning radio show that airs 7a to 10a on 106.9 KROC-FM
